Over the past 17 years, the Global SRM Research from State of Flux has examined how organisations manage their most important supplier relationships. Last year’s report explored the shift from being a Customer of Choice to achieving Customer Delight and what that means for organisations seeking stronger performance, resilience, and long‑term value from their supply base.

This year, we move the conversation forward with our new research theme: Making SRM Stick. We will examine what truly embeds SRM into organisational culture, how to sustain consistent behaviours, and what enables teams to turn SRM from a framework into a lasting way of working.

This roundtable brings together a small, select group of senior procurement leaders to discuss how these ideas are playing out in practice, particularly against a backdrop of conflict, volatility, and supply chain disruption.

Topics will include:

  • What it takes to move beyond Customer of Choice towards Customer Delight with strategic suppliers

  • How organisations are strengthening collaboration, resilience, and trust across their supply base

  • The role supplier relationships play in navigating disruption, enabling innovation, and creating long‑term value

  • Practical experiences from procurement leaders facing today’s supply‑market pressures

  • An early preview of this year’s new research: Making SRM Stick

The session will be informal and discussion‑led, giving participants the opportunity to exchange perspectives with peers while reflecting on insights from both last year’s findings and this year’s emerging research.
