Job Type: Hybrid working with opportunities to travel

As a Consultant at State of Flux, you will play a key role in delivering impactful procurement and supply chain projects for global clients across diverse industries. You will work on initiatives spanning supplier relationship management (SRM), contract lifecycle management, strategic sourcing, and supply chain risk. By translating complex business challenges into actionable solutions, you will drive meaningful change, foster deep client relationships, and contribute to both project delivery and business development in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.

Responsibilities

  • Understands and translates client business issues into solutions, scoping client projects and proposals

  • Builds deep client relationships

  • Maps and analyses complex data/processes and develop improvement measures   

  • Independently structures and presents results and action plans

  • Actively supports business development initiatives, including preparation of proposals and commercials

  • Supports ad-hoc practice development and thought leadership projects

Qualifications and Skills

To perform effectively in the role of Consultant, it is important that the successful candidate possesses:

  • Experience: 2–4 years of consultancy experience

  • Undergraduate degree and ideally a related Master’s Degree or MBA

  • Hands-on supply chain/procurement consulting experience

  • Sourcing knowledge is desirable but not essential i.e. strategic sourcing, purchasing, procurement to payables, e-procurement systems and ERP packages

  • Ability to communicate at all levels and network within client organisations

  • Highly motivated and able to demonstrate ownership and personal accountability

  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
