Over the past 17 years, State of Flux’s Global SRM Research has tracked how organisations manage their most important supplier relationships. One insight has become increasingly clear: the experience suppliers have when working with an organisation directly shapes the experience ultimately delivered to end customers.
While many organisations aspire to be a Customer of Choice for their most strategic suppliers, fewer understand what it truly takes to translate that position into tangible customer value. Strong intent, clear strategies and formal SRM frameworks often exist, yet the connection between supplier experience and customer outcomes is rarely made explicit or actively managed.
At the Wellington SRM Summit 2026, we will explore how leading organisations move from Customer of Choice to Customer Delight. Drawing on the latest research and real-world examples, the discussion will focus on how managing the supplier experience with intent can unlock sustained value and superior customer outcomes.
